Historic distinction in the heart of the Loire Valley

Houses & Pavilions
Stay at the heart of history
Each part of Le Relais d’Amboise reflects a different era and architectural style: the Maison du Duc, the Manoir des Minimes, the Pavillon de l’Horloge, the Pavillon Louise, the Maison de l’Apothicaire, the Demeure François I, and the Pavillon Charles VIII.
From the pale tuffeau stone carved into troglodyte spaces, dating back to the Renaissance for the houses at the foot of the château—once home to the Minimes convent—to the grandeur of the 18th century embodied by the Maison du Duc and the restaurant Le Choiseul, each space reveals a sophisticated décor enriched with singular details. A subtle harmony emerges throughout, inspired by nature and its treasures, echoing the lush greenery and formal French gardens that surround the Relais.

The hotel park: a green setting facing the Château d'Amboise
To suspend time, few experiences compare to wandering through a majestic garden imbued with mystery, serenity, and beauty. The Relais park—an almost one-hectare green haven with privileged views of the Château of Amboise—offers a variety of atmospheres and sensibilities.
More classical in the Jardin des Minimes, a French formal garden adorned with magnificent topiaries; bright and vibrant along the Promenades de César; more mysterious within the cliffside gardens, home to a century-old cedar of Lebanon; and playful in the Carré des Baies, where fruits flourish in season.
Through its creativity and biodiversity, the park becomes a space for leisure and connection—a place to breathe, where heritage meets ecological contemporaneity.
